250th game for Kuyt if he plays today. Been a great servant of the club. :emoticon-0150-hands

Hard working player with an eye for goal, his main attribute is his work rate, I don't see him playing for us any further than the end of next season as that work rate will have to go with age and once it has he won't have the quality.

I like it when a player understands his limitations and then adapts to compensate for them, it shows intelligence.

Kevin Davies is another good example (love him or hate him) I remember when he was a little skillfull player for Chesterfield in the FA Cup. He adapted his game and improved physically if he hadn't done he would have dropped down the leagues a long time ago.

I like Diggler. I know he lacks certain qualities that these days people think are the only things that matter for a player but I think he makes up for them in other ways.
He loses the ball a little too often but his defensive contribution up and down the pitch compensates for that. His stamina and work rate are undisputed but more important to me is that he's a team player and in these days of show ponies that is so often badly under-rated.
He's given us a lot of crucial goals and I'm sure if we played a system that favoured a goal- hanger he'd have popped up with a lot more. The fact that he's put in a decent shift in an area where he's isn't really suited is testament to his professionalism.
I have no figures for this but I'd say he's made a significant contribution to the majority of goals we've scored.
Doesn't dive, not too gobby and doesn't get over involved in all the shenanigans that go on all the time. All in all a model pro.
