I like him.

He's said it's an honour and he feels very proud to have the opportunity, and it comes across genuine rather than the usual platitudes rolled out when players move.

I think he knows it's his last chance at the top level, this is his swan song, there's no pressure on him - so I reckon every minute he gets on the pitch (which wont be many...) he'll play himself out of his skin; go out with a bang.

Here's hoping it's a Sibierski Mk II. If not, at the very least he'll be a good influence on the training ground for the young players.

On a free, most likely a low wage. He actually wanted to play for us. Genuine guy.

Don't see the problems people seem to be having over him.
The only players we could get were those on a free. Hardly expecting Messi were we? People would've been complaining if we hadn't bothered signing anyone.

Good back up if the worst happens, and as you say good influence for younger players.

Thank **** that some people have got some sense! Alls I've heard all day is whinging about how he's a bad signing for various reasons. I think he'll work hard and you definately can't go wrong with having an extra player in the squad. I'd love to see him do the bellyflop against Blackburn.

I like him, he's such a genuinely nice guy and his interviews have been excellent. Really want him to do well and hope we see the famous celebration before May <ok>

Been thinking the same thing.

I think this signing is going to be very beneficial in every respect for the club. Maybe if his time here rejuvinates him he could be an effective targetman for another year or two as well
