Not a big surprise it releases funds wonder how much we got for him.One of the fans favourites shame but onward and upward. COR
Thanks for him, I don't think you got much as we only gave him a 6 month deal which means it would have been a small fee.
i been told £40,000 which could raise to £50,000 if certain clauses are reached. makes no difference how long of a contract you offered him. you still had to buy him from us. we werent going to let him go cheaper just because you offered him a 6 months contract!
Yeah point made, but we would not pay too much if we were only willing to give a short contract, 40k sounds around the mark, where did you hear it though.
to be honest i would of taken anything for him. 30 goals in over 3 seasons is a poor return for a striker. for last 18 months been very lazy and dis-interested. refused to play twice - 1st under trollope and earlier this season under buckle. when his loan finished with you over a week ago he again refused to play claiming he was ill. apparently having glandular fever. then on your site, it claims he had bronchitis. contradictions! regardless of what the illness was, it just conveniently started the day he returned to us and will seem to be fit ready for your game this weekend as soon as he has departed from us! convenient indeed. i would of been happy to pay you to take him off our hands. the amount is what i keep hearing. rumours. however these people who are saying it have some kind of connections with the club and been reliable in the past
We only paid about a fiver for him anyway lol. Got a decent little player there, but just wait until he has settled in. He will not play half as well as he did to start with and will barely look interested in the game come the end. If I were you, I would take him on for a year at a time as that may help make him play better continuously
According to this report, no fee involved for Kuffour...http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16543999.stm
So he went for nothing. Good businesss sense if you want to save on the wage bill. If he didn't want to play for us so be it. However, he didn't fit with the team because his pace was to much for the bloody tractors in our squad
I had high hopes for Joker but his head dropped last season and he clearly didn't see his future here. I'd like to wish him all the best but that would be a falsehood. Good riddance to the ****.
He was a good link man with Lambo, when he left went off the boil as we did not find a permanent replacement,I thought he was good as for receiving no money that seems bad business unless he was on a serious wage with us and it releases funds. You have a good link man who causes defence problems. He did not score too many as CJS said however he is as good as anything we have got up front at the mo so great deal for Hess. COR
