It seems like Pearsons still able to make the signings that he wants, with Was and Hammond coming in since his arrival, also having GTF train with us. I think credit where it is due, everyone winced at the thought of hiring a Director of Football, but it seems that he may be taking some weight off of Pearson & Co in regards to signings. There have been no real grievances shown by Pearson or Shakey in post match interviews to suggest that this has caused a problem for them. Its not like the signings have dried up and Robinson is keeping the City cheque book under lock and key in Fort Knox, he seems to be doing a good job getting these players on board in regards to contracts whilst trying to balance the books. If this is how his DoF role is going and its helping Pearson & Co to deal with training and bettering the players, then Kudos Terry Robinson, Kudos
I think you're right. He's tightening things up and continuing the good work Nigel started. I think we worried about a clash of personalities but it looks like they're working together quite well.
