Tottenham literally just got a new keeper, and surprisingly gave him a 2 year deal. If they bring in a young keeper, he'll be sat on the bench so will have to be less established than Krul.

Anyway, I think Krul is probably the one we should try to hold onto most. IMO he will be in the top 4/5 keepers in the world when he hits his prime. The fans love him, he seems happy here, the only obstacle I can see is MA and his love for big piles of cash.

From a Spurs perspective, I'd say it's pretty unlikely.
It appears that Gomes' time is up, but Friedel only joined in the summer and he's been very solid so far.
Cudicini's a capable deputy, but I'd expect a youngster with potential to be signed as third choice, not a Dutch international.

A summer move might be a possibility, if the club could sell Krul on the idea that he'd be integrated into the side over the course of next season.
Friedel may not have missed a league game since May 2004, but he can't go on forever.

 

I'd say it depends on whether someone bids silly money, this applies to any team not just us. If we show dome intent and are right up where we are come Christmas why would he actually want to leave.

 

Dirty 'Arry won't spend 20 mil on a keeper. Not when he can use that money to buy 15 more midfielders

 

Is there a goalkeeper on the planet worth more than Krul right now? He has age on his side, one of the best keepers around ability-wise and already has European (all-be-it one game) and international experience. You could possibly say Neuer but Krul is younger and is pretty similar in terms of ability.
