Krueger's Korner - The Off-Topic Chat Thread

The Official Off-Topic Chat Thread now known as "Krueger's Korner". Was Liebherr's Corner, formerly Cortese's Corner. The original name of Beefy's Corner, is being replaced on an occasional basis. Next time, who knows..? Could be anyone. Could even be my corner.

Firstly, the normal rules of the site apply. You cannot start a discussion about contentious issues, Politics, Religion, or show Porn, etc... The flip side of this arrangement is that there will be a much stricter enforcement of the "no going off topic" rule which has always been the case anyway, on the other threads.

Secondly, the normal rules of the Saints board will apply, (except that you can go off-topic obviously). This is not going to become a "private GC Lite." Personal insults will not be tolerated, and neither will goading someone to draw them out. The whole tone of this board has suffered in the past as differing views have been aired and there have been far too many angry exchanges. Vitriolic exchanges are not welcome and will be dealt with as appropriate. If you have fallen out with a poster put him on your ignore list and don't rise to the bait!
If you see content which is not appropriate, please send the mods a PM rather than fronting up the poster and let us deal with it to save a bun-fight. Lastly, if a thread is closed or deleted by one of the Mods, and you have some good reason that it should reopen, then send us a PM with your reasons. Simply re-posting the same thread again to be confrontational would be considered very provocative and would probably lead to action being taken.

It would seem that large numbers of posts and subjects causes problems for mobile phone users to access this site. So from time to time it will be necessary to close the threads down and start a new one. Approximately every 1000 posts or so.

Messages that are purely designed to increase a post count will be deleted.

Don't worry Beefy. Just fill it up as usual. I can safely inform anyone neutral that it is not an appreciation of the aforementioned Freddie or Freddy. At least it's better than Alexis Korner though, which I thought about, but only oldies would have got it. I have a number of names in the pipeline though, all Saints orientated. They spring into my head just as I'm about to create a new thread. This one popped out first, this time.

 

Tara Strong also voiced Rikku in Final Fantasy 10.

Holy ****balls. She was also Dil in Rugrats. So much time spent listening to this woman and I just learnt who she is.

 

Voice overs is a very lucrative career (and no one cares what you look like). Can go on working into old age.

Just finished a rare televisual event from ITV [Champions League coverage], and was greeted with the boast ITV - Channel of the Year. By which crazy parameters was that decided upon..? It would have been funny, but I was taking a swig of tea at the time and coughed and spluttered in surprise. Just mopped it all up. Thankfully, I missed the keyboard entirely.
