I've seen his name linked with us a bit, on the BBc and Sky sports transfer pages. Would he be good for us?

Pros- we'll lose Schlupp and Mahrez (probably) to the ACON, he has too flight experience, he has a great set piece

Cons- played for Forest and derby (doesn't bother me personally), age and has been playing in Scotland

Offers a goal threat from the left - get the lad.

Gary Hooper is all you need as an example of how overrated Scottish football is.

    Not for me.

I'd have him in the Championship but he's too slow for this league. I think we can do better.

If it was risk free financially, I'd take him on the basis it could also allow jeff to play at full back and would compliment him nicely IMO. I'd rather Commons on the left of midfield than Konch at left back. Also, with City, West Ham, Spurs to play before Jan, it's still looking grim for us and if we are back in the chorion ship next year he'd be a top player as mentioned above

Not quick enough for the wing for me, but in a different system, eg. in a 3-man midfield then possibly. Scottish players don't all do badly- Naismith and Joe Ledley spring to mind.

Well we signed Andy Robertson from Dundee Utd and he's already being scouted by Utd, Arsenal and Manchester City, it's not the league that sets the standard, it's the ability of the player. Everybody has to start somewhere.
