    Still think he would be a decent addition to our squad, as we have no real goal-poachers in our team.

    He is abysmal. Over weight, unfit, lacks talent, pace and any other characteristic you look for in a striker
    His goalscoring rate in scotland was fine but ask any celtic fan when they were most confident about winning an old firm clash and the majority will answer 'when Boyd is playing'. It is no coincidence he was dropped for 95% of the old firm and european matches during his last couple of years in scotland and never made an impact at boro, forest or in Turkey

    To be fair, if we created a team that dominated matches and wanted somebody who done no more than stand in the penalty box and stick chances away he would probably be a very good signing but with the lack of opportunities we create in a match you may aswell stick a dustbin on the penalty spot and hope the ball deflects in off it.
