Niko Kranjcar claims to be unaware of what the future holds for him at Tottenham, with a lack of communication leaving him in the dark.

"Maybe Tottenham are talking with Dynamo Kiev, I just don't know. I'm in the dark. Nobody has told me anything."
    Niko Kranjcar
    Quotes of the week
The Croatia international has often found himself on the fringes of the first-team fold at White Hart Lane, leaving him frustrated and considering his options.

He finds himself in a similar situation this summer, with it unlikely that he will be a regular in 2012/13.

Spurs have been reluctant to part with his services in the past, with competition for places important, but Kranjcar may decide to force their hand.

He claims he has been given no indication by boss Harry Redknapp as to where he figures in his plans, if at all, and says he knows nothing of reports linking him with a move to Dynamo Kiev.

    Contact

"I don't have any contact with my manager Harry Redknapp," Kranjcar told Sportske Novosti.

"When I was leaving London to head back home to Croatia, he didn't tell me anything about next season. So I don't really know if he is counting on me or not.

"A move to the Ukraine? I don't know. Nobody has told me about this.

"Maybe Tottenham are talking with Dynamo Kiev, I just don't know. I'm in the dark. Nobody has told me anything."

If he leaves should we be interested? I know Brucie mentioned him a couple of times when he was here but under MoN as he looks to put together a fast, powerful counter attacking side together should we consider this lad? Can play on the wing, in the middle and behind the striker. Personally a player like him or Fernandes has to be sat next to Colback in the 2 in the 4/2/3/1 pulling the strings and creating things for the 4 infront.

He's a cracking player, but if it was a choice between him and Manu Fernandes (we could only have one, realistically), i'd take Manu, as he's quicker, and younger.

Either would massively increase the creativity and forward drive in the side.

    Fletcher
    Sess
    McLean - Diame/Jack - Manu/Kranjkaer - Seb/Hoillett/McGeady

Very tasty indeed, I think the physical presence of Diame would give us more freedom to go forward, although Jack is much better with the ball (bar the odd rocket shot from Diame!)

I have not really watched much of Diame as I cannot stand Wiganbut people say he is like a poor man's Yaya Toure with him being good defensively but also likes to make those runs forward.

I think Diame will be a good addition if it comes off and will certainly improve the competition in our midfield, he is only 6ft 1" and he is a big powerful lad so he will add something completely different to the side.

As for that team you have put above I would cream my pants if we have those players (obviously its either Manu or Kranjcarr and either Hoilett or McGeedy in our squad not all as we couldn't afford it) we would certainly be good enough to kick on. We would have a central midfield that has power, vision and a bit of pace. 2 wingers who get the ball and who like to run at speed attacking the defenders. The magic Sessegnon roaming around causing mayhem and there is bigger names than Fletcher out there but if he is at the front of that lot he will get goals.

    Absolutely mate.

Obviously, I don't expect us to sign all, just put the options (all are realistic, all have been linked heavily already), any combination of those players would be a real handful.

I don't see us getting Hoillett (or AJ), but McGeady is a real possibility.

Kranjkaer more realistic than Manu...and many of the spuds saying we should go for him/he would do well at ours.

I honestly think wor Jack could be a brilliant left-back for us, with a genuine England future in that role. When he's played there, no-one gets the better of him bar the odd chance which is inevitable.

any road, long time to go yet....
