Im sure its a cut price, but it does free up his wages, so maybe its worth the hit. Gives us more to play with on incoming transfers.
... ... you can take the lads out of Leicester but you can't take 'Leicester' out of the lads ... what the fook are you concerned about the money for? ... petty cash compared with what we have got and will continue getting ...
Pleased for him, he seemed to be scoring goals in a great league with a side that appreciates the way he needs to play football. I think this is one of our worst signings. Not in terms of money spent or in terms of the lad's ability but in the fact that he just doesn't suit our way of playing. Shame, but I think he'll do well over there and I'd be amazed if we've not got some sort of sell-on clause in the contract.
I was talking about his wages rather than the petty cash for transfers. If we can't shift people like Kramaric, the club aren't going to ruin the wage structure by bringing more players on higher wages. Admittedly, as a growing club, we may have a bigger wage budget this season, but the players we have will likely get improved contracts, like Vardy and Maherez already have and DD will prob get with the pool rumours around. We can't have a champions league wage structure for 1 season when players want 3 year+ contracts, which means we can't accommodate players that aren't going to make the current team like Kramaric. I would be surprised if we didn't also sell Benny and Inler this window.
Personally I'd love Benny to stay as 3rd choice CB as I think we'll struggle to find better but i can't see it happening
