http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/20140509/koscielny-signs-new-long-term-contract Common people, how hasn't anyone posted this so far? This damn forum has been dead for the past few days, BLOODY LIVEN UP! Anyways, this is very good news, we've basically signed 99% of our key players to new long term contracts.
I put it in the transfers thread about 20 minutes ago. didn't know where else it should go. On topic, great news.
It is great indeed, because some of the giants of Europe, like Barca and Munich are in certain need of some new top quality CB's.
Unlike you lazy benefit scrounging layabouts, some of us have to work for a living But I agree this is great news, Kos is one of our best players and signing him up to another long term contract is great business for Arsenal. Credit to Wenger, both on signing him in the first place from club that were playing League 2 football in France for a long time and for developing him into one of the best CBs in the premier league.
then clubs would know for sure when they run out. They could probably find out anyways, but it gives us a chance to renew contracts before other clubs realising that they're running out.
No way would Kos go to United, the guy wants to play for a team with ambition, not some mid-table team hoping to qualify for the Euopra league. I don't think he'd ever join Liverpool either.
Great news. He's been outstanding, as everyone bar one poster seems to recognise. Him & Mert can be the solid backs that Arsenal have lacked for many seasons. Another good 4 years in that partnership.
