    Surprised @Hoddle Is A God isn't all over this. Personally I'm just glad it isn't us with the moody player for a change, we had this last week.

    True, but the difference is, with Arnautovic, you always knew he was a **** and would try to force your hand if a lucrative offer came.
    Koscielny is highly respected at Arsenal and has given us almost a decade of service, yet he's choosing to end his Arsenal career on an extremely sour note, because we're not doing what he wants. It's awful behaviour from a player who you wouldn't usually act so petulantly.

    my initial reaction to this was to say Im not bothered.

    Kos is passed it IMO, and probably should leave the club. I just think its unfortunate that we probably wont be getting a fee for him now.

    If we can't get a fee for him I'd make him sit out the remainder of his contract in the reserves. All though I would like to know what exactly led him to do this I dont see him as a trouble maker, I must add that many former big players to have played under Emery don't seem to have much respect for the coach so I'm wondering if this is something to do with his management

    * man management.
    Regarding the captaincy I would give it to Bellerin as Xhaka is not a guaranteed starter or at least I hope not. So bellerin is the only option for me

    Really unprofessional behaviour from Koscielny. He's been a decent servant for us, but he's ending his Arsenal career by ruining his reputation with us.

    Ozil? Perhaps the captaincy might inspire him to do great things because I do not see a queue of buyers outside the Emirates wanting to recruit his services.

    Have we got any players who are really 'captains'? This has been a huge problem for a long while now

    No we dont really.
    Ozil is too soft
    Lacazette maybe.. Aubameyang maybe.
    Holding potentially in the future.

    I really like Kosc but I think he’s been a right twat with how he’s acted. Fine him two weeks wages, strip him of the captaincy and tell him he can only leave right offer comes in. Then keep him for a season and let him leave on a free. We need CBs and I don’t see any good rumours for who we might bring in so he will be useful this season. He loves to play football so I don’t see him not putting in a shift if called upon.
