I think that's the best game I've seen him play in a City shirt. Thoughts please?

    He's been class recently.

Obviously the birth of his child has given him a surge of confidence and he's loving his football now.

I like how he takes the game by the scruff of the neck. Keep it up Roko.

he's more involved in the centre, spends too much time out of the game wide.

As most are saying, he is far better and more impactive in Centre Mid, promising signs when we'll have Brady one side of Koren and Stewart the other !!!

Looks like Koren played in his favoured centre midfield role ad it showed. Would we sacrifice either Cairney or Mckenna to accomodate Koren's best position, playing Pusic or a fit Stewart on the wing in Koren's place (an idea for home games with the onus on us to attack).

One of the most naturally gifted players I've seen in a City shirt, defensively not great but better today. With the ball at his feet though he's a top player,he rarely looks to see where the ball is when he has it and thats the sign of quality. His shooting is good too. Hope the Qatar people stay away.

I stated a few weeks ago that Korens best work was when he came inside, today cemented my belief that he is a cenner midfeilder..Well done Robbie Koren

He's played plenty of games in both positions over the last year and a bit and it's rarely made a difference to his impact on the game, so I don't buy this crap that his performance today was just down to plyaing in the middle.

He's having a great spell at the moment, probably due to having better players around him, including when he played on the wing in the last 5 games.

He was class today, how Marshall kept out that curling top corner shot I'll never know! Tackled back and contributed all over the park. I sincerely hope Nige signs him up for another 2 years. He was the difference between the two sides today.

Koren was imperious today . Ran the show for us . The man is pure class ,I 'm pissed and on the last train back to Ferriby but Koren on the form he was on today is in the best three players in this league .

I can't think who the other two are by the way .

Certainly not the frizzy haired cockney arse wipe who treated our club with nothing but contempt .

Repeatedly stated this last season as to why Koren (a world cup captain) wasn't being played in his favoured and much more influential CM role. Brady and Stewart can potentially make big contributions but Koren is the one player we have who could totally boss and run a game.
I get that we needed someone to play out on the right but now Pusic is in and looked ok, I hope RK can cement that place in CM.

    Great result today COYH

with the likes of mclean, pusic, cairney, evans , barmby creating more options

did we play 4-3-3 today? that may have helped.

PS: i don't wanna be negative but it is worrying to see the lack of backup at the back. the back four is nicely tuned now, losing a player and only having someone like mcshane or sonny bradley as backup is worrying
