You know exactly who's going to go straight into midfield...

Yeah, cos Koren has had his best ever season for us this year and him not playing will completely change how we play.

I'm about 1000 times more relieved Jack Hobbs is back.

Agree with that. Everyone's been going on about how important Koren is all week, forgetting that he was woefully out of form before this injury.

Hobbs missed Barnsley and his absence cost us within 4 minutes. He's been our best defender this year IMO, and I'm a massive Chester fan so I don't really like saying that but they're both just ace.

It's funny how our midfield can't put two passes together and link with th front line when Korens missing though.

It's no better whatsoever when he's playing. His passing isn't even that good. It's not like he's constantly carving teams open as you always make out. I think he's made one defence-splitting pass this season which was for Evans' goal against Leeds.

He's got a knack of turning up at the right time like at Ipswich but in general his finishing isn't that good. He misses some wonderful chances.

Hobbs' only weakness is offering an aerial threat at set pieces.

Chester's is being more dominant aerially in his own box.

If either of them added those aspects to their game they'd be PL defenders without a doubt.

not saying Bruce should play, but one thing he does give us is a bit of fight and a bit of confrontatation and doesnt let people walk over him like the way everyone did last week...
also after not scoring past the bottom 3, our top scorer not been fully fit and available is a problem to me, especially as our top scorer since christmas is also ruled out in the same breath...

Don't want to sound too fussy but he's only scored one of those since Milwall back in August/September whenever it was. I'd love him to suddenly play like he did last season but I can't see it. If he comes on as an impact sub that's probably the best thing.

He came on and won us the game against Ipswich, it would be rather nice if he was available to come on and do the same tomorrow.
