Seems like we maybe a none selling club. http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/football/middlesbrough/9744714.Boro_s_Koren_bid_falls_flat/?
Great news, now lets get him an improved 2 year contract to sign. Can't replace him cheap so give him what he's worth.
Completely agree, we just have to hope the new manager (whoever he may be) values him as much as we do and knows where to play him to get the best out of him.
Got to pay him the going rate or he'll be off. What it costs us in wages to keep him will be a lot cheaper than what we would have to shell out to try and replace him. Best player in his position in this league, he will be expecting a decent wedge to stay.
Great news that the Allams are keeping to their word that they intend hanging on to our better players. Now they must get our next manager on board ASAP (whoever that may be) because as you can see from the NorthernEcho article, other clubs are already filling their boots with available players and we can't afford to drag our heels and get left with the dregs.
100% spot on. Same for James Chester, Liam Rosinoir and Cory Evans. Get the deals done and dusted. End of.
Well the Allams say no, but I think it's so the new manager has the option, if he doesn't want Koren or Stewart or whoever, that's down to him. So I think this shows they are at least trying to be offensive rather than defensive. Apologies for that last bit, having a few beers so can't remember what I was going to put!
I know what your saying. Equally if Koren doesn't want to play for us next season he'll be off. Contracts mean nothing and if Koren decides he has no chance of promotion with us for whatever reason he'll be a goner.
With Brucie in charge I'm sure we'll see Koren have more than a few "Good Games" and get us a few points, cause we all know what points make don't we??. Alright my luv?
Indeed. My only concern is Brucies training methods which are from the dark ages.. Slumberlands players sighted many of there knee injuries down to SB methods after he was sacked. FC twittered something else as well at the time.
Not quite. Lol. More like pounding the yards day after day. Barmby liked to do more ball work which our players are used to. Just running and running is not the way anymore.
The new manager (looking increasingly like Bruce or Davies) will want to keep the best players and add to the squad. If the Allams tell either of the shortlisted they will have to sell before they buy, they will walk away. This is where the reality of what they did to Nick Barmby will hit home.
