Koren - Injured

Koren out for around 7 weeks, broken bone in foot.
Been playing with injections now found out its broken.

 

Well I guess that means Quinn comes in. Good thing he has looked real good the last 2 times off the bench.

 

A shame but maybe a chance to bring Quinn in and change the shape a little

 

Is this from Radio Humberside? No seen owt on any other City site or Twitter.

 

Tough break (literally) for RoKo who has looked revitalised this season. However it should resolve the issue of Quinniesta being in the starting MF line up so I dont think it will weaken us that much, if at all.

Hope it heals well and quickly RK...those foot bone breaks can take a while.

 

Maybe Cairney is a like for like?

 

No - bring Rosey in and push Elmo forwards, then we sure up the obvious weak link in defence as well as keep some natural wide footed width in an advanced midfield 3 made up of 2 other left footers.

 

If true thats a real shame. He's just started to recapture his form, but luckily we have Quinn waiting on the bench.

Yet again we force a player to play with an injury. This should've been sorted when it first happened.

 

Wonder who will be made captain in his absence?

I think Chester has worn the armband at some point this year, maybe him?

 

I agree, when he was signed I thought he'd be the Captain, but now I don't see any other option.

 

I think every time Koren has come off he has given it to him. Not positive about that but pretty sure.

 

He'll be a huge loss.

 

Definitely Davies for captain for me. He's a real team leader, vocal, and sets a great example.

 

Whilst I think Roko has performed excellently so far this season, I was highly impressed with Quinny when he came on against Carduff and he really carved their defence open. So I'm not so certain the Captains loss will be as significant.
