Sunderland have agreed a groundbreaking sponsorship deal to join forces with Team Korea in the Americaâs Cup, sailingâs number one event. The 18-month deal will see the clubâs crest emblazoned on the Team Korea boat during the Americaâs Cup World Series, which begins in San Francisco on Tuesday. The partnership underlines the clubâs ambitions for greater international exposure following the major shirt sponsorship deal with Invest In Africa. The club also travelled to South Korea during pre-season to take part in the Peace Cup tournament.
