    What a Kunt.........
    • If you’re going to spend a few days sunning yourself around a swimming pool, at least have the decency to keep it off social media.

Oh, to be a Sunderland player.

No matter how bad you perform - or, in the case of Jack Rodwell, don’t perform at all - it appears that there’s absolutely nothing in the way of accountability amongst the players that, week after week, let this club down with their unprofessional, insipid displays of shoddy workmanship.

Chris Coleman spoke in the aftermath of our latest defeat - on Saturday at home to Preston - about the players needing to get away from each other for a few days, and as such it would appear that they’ve been granted the opportunity to do what they want whilst the rest of football heads into a two week international break.

And for Lamine Kone - who has been left out of the Ivory Coast’s squad for their upcoming games with Togo and Moldova due to his awful recent form - that has meant he’s got an excuse to get himself abroad, relaxing around a swimming pool for a few days.

      Just... unbelievable.

The reward for persistent failure isn’t an all expenses trip paid jaunt abroad like we’ve seen in the past (New York 2017, anyone?), but still, it rankles somewhat that a player whom has come under such considerable criticism in recent times from supporters has the audacity to show off the fact he’s sunning himself abroad whilst the rest of us sit pondering what on Earth is going to happen to our football club over the coming weeks and months.

I’ve no doubt that people might think this is over-critical, but to me it shows a chronic lack of understanding once more from a player who is clearly too thick to be anywhere near social media, and really should be one of the first bombed out of this football club once the summer comes around.

Surely he knows the reaction such an image will get, particularly when you have such a large following on social media and the fans of the unfortunate club you play for can see it in plain sight? I don’t understand why, in his position, you’d be so tactless.

As mentioned earlier, Chris Coleman made no secret that the players would be afforded a few days off work over the break but to rub it in the faces of the supporters is just foolish, particularly when the club are sat rock bottom of the Championship without a hope in hell’s chance of staying up.

To me it shows that Kone has no humility, no dignity and just doesn’t care all to much what people think of him. The Sunderland players live inside a comfy little bubble where they don’t have to face the fans unless it’s a Saturday, and because of that they can get away with doing whatever they want with their money. And that’s their prerogative, of course, but it doesn’t mean we should be happy for them.

There are just over six weeks until the season ends, and the sooner this rolls around the better. Sunderland need to rid themselves of these pathetic wasters sooner rather than later, and one of those at the top of the transfer list should undoubtedly be Lamine Kone - a man who, in the past, has shown us up in the public eye far too often for anyone’s liking.

Can't say this bothers me. If Coleman's given them time off I don't expect them to spend it in a dark room whipping themselves for being ****e even if that is what they deserve.

It's just a picture of a pool, if it was filled with £50 notes and he was swimming in them it'd be different.

I think its taking the pish abit myself like mate. Not the fact that hes gone away cause like you say its upto him what he does in his time off but putting it on Instagram to show his thousands of Sunderland supporting followers is rubbing peoplea face in it. He clearly doesnt really give a feck about our impending relegation or have any respect for the fans.

I am also airing on the side that this doesn't actually bother me. You never know he may come back all refreshed and have an outstanding end to the season, as unlikely as that is. Agreed, if he was sat there with a big grin on his face and sat in a dentist chair I may feel different.

Yeah it is a little bit taking the piss but I've been thinking of him (and most of the squad) as work shy twats for so long that nothing they do shocks or surprises me anymore. Compared to Rodwell's shenanigans Kone is a model pro.

To me its like a watered down version of Fletcher standing next to his new car. It doesnt really bother me but he's still being daft and inconsiderate cos a person with half a brain cell would know that showing off snaps of his holidays whilst grossly under performing for his club would piss alot of people off.

They should be in full time training.

I half expected to read sunderland in dubia warm weather training.
Ohhh forgot that’s what premiership clubs do in the international break

Maybe he might slip on the side of the Pool and injure himself just enough too miss the rest of the season.
I live in hope as were ****e when he doesn't play and were ****e when he does play, so he's not contributed anything to the team all season.

Yes im not saying going away for a few days is wrong because most of us would fly abroad if we had a few days off and a few million pound of unearned cash in the bank like him, but bragging about it online in our current plight shows a complete lack of respect to the depressed fans back at home and it also proves what a Grade A kunt he is with no morals.
Like i said on here last week, ive never hated a squad of SAFC players as much as i do this lot.

I agree . Full time training. Especially working on how to defend, as individuals and as a unit. To do the job they claimed to be so good at when they negotiated their salaries
In fact forget the training - its too late now - get them sweeping the terraces or touching up the paintwork or something -- club may as well have something for our money

Don't mind that he's gone away but if I was Coleman I'd have said "no social media lads"

The man either knows what he is doing, rubbing it in and doesn't fekin care.....or he's as thick as....
The Club should have handled this better as well. We are in the sh ite, A break would have given the team time to bond and try to work together before taking on the last few games and at least make a fist of it!
Properly handled its still possible, this just shows they haven't a clue and what does it say to the young lads who have some fire and want to succeed?.
Kone get your fekin **** together and show some backbone, Sunderland supporters deserve better, so stop being a cnut!

When CC said he’d give the players a few days away from each other - maybe his real intention was to get himself time away from the useless tw@ts.

He's surely got permission to go so I've no problem with it. As for taking the piss, he does that with efforts not given on the pitch not this, the issue isn't him going on holiday it's the feeling he hasn't earned it at all.

Exactly, I'd have the t wats in for double sessions. Another example of Coleman being inadequate.

All managers do it, and all managers did it for them when they were players. Don't single out Coleman when it's part of footballing culture. Id appreciate it if you didn't use my posts to fuel your Colman vendetta <ok>

I have no issue with a bloke having a holiday.

The fact that he’s a cowardly, bottling ****cunt on the park does **** me off, though. Prime whoppa this one.
