I for one hope this is bullshit, I wouldn't want a player who moans 4 months after agreeing a deal, to leave and wants a big wage increase. He's a tosser, and he's not very good. We have enough **** already at our club.

I reckon there's a release clause of over £20m in his contract - wouldn't make sense for us to offer him a new deal without a big release clause so if a "big club" (Bournemouth?) comes in for him then he holds the cards

Blame Short if you want but in my view Kone's lack of motivation is down to poor management motivation - he was colossal with Sam . He's not happy and if Moyes is as dour on the training ground as he sounds in the media I understand his (lack of) motivation.

Agree with you on Moyes - I said he wasn't the man before the season started. How can someone with two failures be the man, unless, of course, you're Ellis Short. He happens to be the common denominator in most of our problems

I cannot disagree - it's gloomy but we've had worse times than this with different board rooms .
Our under performance seems to be from our FA financial hammering in the 50's for under counter payments which were rife in the game. We were a successful club but in the NE.
Similar has happened to Durham CC.

If he carries on the way he's going we'll be lucky to get that.

The first goal on Saturday was criminal just waiting for the ball to arrive and getting beaten in the air off Sanchez 8inches shorter than him.

If there is no release clause in his contract after what happened in the summer then it's beyond belief.

The worry is that he is the only decent defender at the club, not his fault if he thinks he can do what he likes, he was a colossus against West Ham then poor against Arsenal, he could be playing to get away who knows and who can blame him.
