apparently stuck a combination of fingers up at the LCFC fans at the end of the game v Millwall. Was it to show the fans what the score was ? If it´s true then a big ? will appear over his head in terms of him playing on for the club. This has come from foxtalk by the way. Someone DJ said it on the radio & lots of fans have comfirmed it so I´m lead to believe.
Heat of the moment I'd guess, I think he's one of our better players so I'd hope he would be staying. Also, let's face it, there's fans at matches that I want to lamp. Just because they're experts on football manager doesn't make them know it all in the real world!
Good on him i say one of the better players this season goes over to applaud the fans and one twat decides to start abusing him, should have smacked the knob.
Frutrated fans and frustrated players, it was just the wrong match to throw abuse at one player in particular.
Unfortunately he is always liable to give away a needless penalty - can't fault his commitment but, like many of today's footballers, I don't think he is blessed with too much grey matter. Contrast his reaction with that of Sylvain Distain who went over to 'apologise' to his fans for letting Liverpool back in with a poor backpass - Seamus Coleman should have done the same - like Knchesky he commited a needless foul - Gerrard would have been lucky to have kept the ball in but Coleman's needless stupid lunge gave Liverpool the free kick that gave Carroll the winner - hence my point on intelligence or lack of it.
You obviously don't keep abreast of the news by Fosse Friend... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/9188043/Footballers-are-highly-intelligent-according-to-new-study.html EDIT: I like the bit at the end that suggests that thick players might not get picked. Good job Steve Howard's close to retirement then!
