Paul Konchesky has agreed a new contract to stay for another year but his wages have taken a substancial pay cut He was signed by Sven and rumoured to be on around 30K a week so even with a big pay cut he will still be on a decent wage and probably more then anyone else would offer Great loyalty shown by Konch
I would assume he'd haveto take a paycut due to his age and the fact its not going to be a Sven size offer. Whats the source?
Is he going to take a minutes on the pitch cut as well IF we go up ? He will be the weakest link in the chain in our DEF, that´s if you can call him a link at all. Just imo.
Hes probably going to be on a wage packet he actually deserves now, i'm happy to keep his experience, but he'd be the first replaced in the prem.
you mean take a pay cut with us but get a potential Prem based deal - or leave at the end of the contract for, at best, a Championship club and very unlikely to get what we will still pay him? ... perhaps I'm just too much of cynic
