Great post on the 'Bristol City till I die' Facebook page..

"For those slating Kodjia I'd just like to point out a few things.

Jk has scored 12 goals so far this season, that's 2 more than Maynard scored in his first full season

Andre Gray scored 16 goals last season in a promotion chasing team and was then sold for 9 million pounds, JK is on course for that in a relegation fighting team.

JK has scored the highest percentage of goals for his team in the whole of the championship (This is where we start to see the problem)

City have the least amount of different goal scorers in the championship.

City's midfield have scored the least amount of goals in the championship. Bryan 1, Pack 0, Smith 0, Freeman 1, Reid 0, Tomlin 1, Burns 1. This is a pitiful return.

JK has definitely been guilty of missing chances but if anyone wants to start blaming people for our lack of goals then I'd suggest they look to our midfield."

    Spot on Banksy,

Don't often agree with you but the midfield is the problem of our goal source and I believe that Kodjia is a good striker, it's also how we as a team link up with Kodjia that is a problem.

and he will improve, this is his first season in English football. I agree he has missed some right sitters, and snatches at a lot of his attempts but with more experience he will be a 20 goal a season striker at this level.

Agree midfield is a problem, however JK has taken 4/5/6 and more misses before hitting the onion bag,his stats look impressive because the rest in our team, excluding Flint have been very very poor.

Agree absolutely. If we go down it will be a disaster and the lack of midfield goals will be one of the main reasons.. We must beat Rotherham and Bolton at home. And with Fulham away on Saturday the next few weeks will determine our season.

Incidentally all season I have noticed something white on Kodja's left wrist. I assumed it was a caste from a broken wrist but it still remains. Any idea what it is or is it just his under shirt?

When I pointed out before the start of the season I was "poo-poohed" when I said Kodjia was very one-footed

I can't rememnber who it was but I must look up that post (yes I don't forget!)

I think we can all agree that the lad does not have a left foot!!

He wears it for protection to a previous injury.
I don't mind that but I do wonder why he wears those silly long johns surely the weather in Bristol is not much dissimilar to Paris.
He looks like a kid at practice
