It looks like he will be leaving Villa Park in the clearout designed to reduce their wage bill. Does that mean he was on big salary and would we want, or have, him back?
Coming back to a former club often doesn't work out so I'd rather we stayed well clear. Plus he now appears to be injury prone.
Kodjia was a great player when we got him, but I don't think he'd represent good value for money now, particularly given he's had an injury-ravaged season. Sam Baldock might be more worthy of consideration if his demands weren't too high, but even then I think we ought to be looking for new players.
I read that we are looking at Albert again. MUCH rather him than Kodjia - for his attitude. Having said that I agree with Angelic that it rarely works out with returning players. Best to move on.
No thanks , got too big for his boots imo . Was good at the time and we made a good profit out of him , injuries have caught up with him , best years behind him . Move on.
