Would probably be a good move for all concerned. Ipswich would be getting a quality player, and we'd get a Knockaert back with some more confidence for when we play in the Championship next year. We'll need him, as I can't see Mahrez sticking around. Personally, I'd like to play him, but I don't think that will happen, especially with our current formation.

 

I personally think he is over rated. He has got to be one of the slowest wingers around. The Championship is his limit.

 

He's not strong enough for the Prem, plus a bit too ball greedy and makes bad choices when he does pass. Giving the ball away is so dangerous at this level. He's fine in the Championship though.

 

Hes not as lazy as he used to be, but Mahrez is by far better under control of the ball.

 

He, sadly, wont play for us again. Is out of contract at the end of the season. Real waste of talent here for some reason but will no doubt go on to bigger and better things eventually. Another season in the championship is probably for him - for a higher division foreign team

 

Knockaert has pulled the plug and he doesnt want to leave us at the minute

His contract is up soon and talk alot of foreign clubs are already in talks with him

 

I think we should have loaned him out for 1 month and then got him back. An inform Knockaert could have a massive impact for us especially against the lower sides of the division where we can go toe to toe with them rather then the bigger teams where we need to be more cautious

 

He played in a strong U-21 game ...

 

Not quite the level of the championship though

 

. no but he's still a young player with potential and clearly hasn't given up on breaking into the first team ... which is very positive ...
