Knockaert signs for Standard Liege

Anthony Knockaert has signed a 4 year deal with Standard Liege and will go on a free transfer in the summer due to his contract running out

Some great memories during the last 2 years.

His 2 goals at Huddersfield both home and away

That goal at Forest to get us in the play offs

That day at Watford

Then last season he played his role in a team that streamrollered the divison and scored the goal against Sheffield Wednesday that won us the game to seal promotion.

On form he would have you on the edge of your seat. Great signing and sad to see him leave

 

... still young so might progress ... but he has been eclipsed by Mahrez ....

 

Knew he would go - from his point of view there was no sense in staying as he wasnt near the first team.

Good luck to AK. Never gave less than 100%. Hope he can progress at Standard Liege. Should have, allegedly, kept away from a certain persons daughter.

 

Would have prefer to know our fate before letting him go, as he can definitely do a job in the Championship. Let's hope we don't need to worry about that though!

 

Why do people believe anyone who isnt in the team have either been headbutted by Pearson or are having it off with his daughter?

logical move, was great for us once he settled down in the championship, but woun't get in over Albrighton and Mahrez atm, would have thought a Championship team would have been interested, unless his wage demands were too much.

 

Thought he had promise - was excellent last season but couldn't seem to hack it in this one.

Thanks for what you did AK, but to be fair we need better if we want to be a force in the prem. He´d of only warmed the bench any way.

 

I felt he should have been given more of a chance because he undoubtedly has the talent for the Premier League. Always gave his all and i hope he has a great career
