These are the latest names doing the rounds. Big Mo as a replacement for our whingy Mo Sissoko would be good business, he wants out of Hull because they are such a mess and he has a buy out clause. Knows the championship and would be an astute purchase imo. Knockaert is keen on a move to us supposidely, £8m bid rejected, Brighton holding out for 10m. Don't know alot about him, but have read he has the class and skill of Ben Arfa, can terrorise defenders, alot of fans excited about this one, but without really seeing him play i cant comment. Anyone know about him?
Just read Diame is on his way to Nufc now, travelling up after Nufc had a bid of £3m accepted which is his buy out clause. if this is true then it's a class bit of business.
Knockaert would be an amazing signing. He would rip the PL now in my opinion. Not so sure on Diame though. He can be a bit hit and miss. Similar to the twat he'd be replacing!
Diame chipped in with 9 goals for Hull, i dont think he will be that bad and will be a useful option, if he can get into double digits, then 3m is a snip! If Brighton continue to play hardball with Knockaert, then its possible that newcastle will look at Alex Pritchard, again another winger I know little about, but Brentford and Tottenham fans rate him quite highly and has represented england at most youth levels, he probably feels its time to push on and get some regular games at a good level.
Both would be great signings so I hope this rumour is true, Diame would be the attacking midfielder we are needing, played almost every champ game last season, looks tough as **** and has goals in him. Knockeart would be the big one though, and we'd be pretty formidable if we could snap him up. Would also take a big player away from one of our major rivals Brighton and make them less of a thread. Great player, hope we increase the bid.
Forristieri is the other rumour, 15 goals last season, played for italy U-21's Sheff Wed's not keen to let him go, but he really wants to come to the toon. seems like Nufc are doing a fan day to occupy fans whilst completing all the business out of sight. could be in for a good 2-3 joining before fulham at tis rate

Diame and the lad from Brighton would both be cracking signings. Get rid of Sissoko, Thauvin and Tiote and add Pritchard then we will be laughing.

I've seen some of his brilliance, wasnt sure if he was inconsistant though? As for Hull, no fan deserves the sh!t storm you have at the moment, I dont blame bruce for quiting, the whole sale of the club and being postponed is a joke, you need owners in now who are prepared to build a squad fit for competing, yet they have no manager, no signings, players injured everywhere and 11 players fit. I hope you sort it quickly because i wouldnt mind seeing Hull Survive at the expense of the mackems.

Hope you don't go in for Knockaert. Even £10m seems quite cheap so reckon Brighton prob holding out for more. No need to sell, only half a year into his contract and would be selling to a rival. He ripped up championship last year in the 6 months he was there and will be key player this year.
This is the other interesting fact. If we hot Knockaert... we'd weaken Brighton as well as strengthen ourselves.
If we get him AND if (big if) we go up, I'd think he could be our Mahrez..... A lot of if's but crazier things have happened!
