So Bamford has been given a 2 game ban for deceiving the referee. If the Villa player has actually committed the offence he would have got a 3 match ban. Surely the Knobba should serve at minimum the same ban that the Villa guy would have got plus a further punishment? Say 5 games in total.
Exactly the right message in one way, but as you rightly note, wrong kind of message in another way. Typical. Are our MPs moonlighting as FA officials?
Glad he's been punished to be honest, genuinely thought it'd just be swept under the rug by the FA so its good to see them making a stand - the other guy was cleared of any wrongdoing as well so I think where 5 games may have been harsh 3 games probably would have been fair but glad something came from it. Can't believe Leeds are appealing it to be honest.
Are they going to ban Salah for that dive against us? Or is it just certain teams that are allowed to do it?
