A month ago i fell down a river bank and put my knee out..it did pop back in though..

My point is when this happens to a football player i can see why he is out for 8 weeks or so..

For me i am still hobbling around and no where near ready to kick a ball..(cat dog wife Etc)..being retired it doesn't really matter but if i had to work i would be losing money..

Trying to remember the name of the Fireman Argyle signed (a senior moment)..anyway i can imagine how he feels when the team really needs him but has to wait for mother nature to heal him up..

By the way i hope Fletcher keeps the youngsters in the side for the Northhampton game..they had a good second half at Burnley..

He's called Griffiths. It's probably years of running up and down ladders or something. Are they making a film about your crawl back to civilization AWAYINBC what with all the bears about and all? Did you live on squirrel and raw fish for a week and stuff. Were there wolves that you had to kill with your bare hands. Great theme for a movie. Were you found by a Mountie who you fell in love with and rode off together into the Rockies. I'm on a roll now so where is my script paper...........

Perhaps we should have a sweepstake seeing who is back fit first Griffiths or AIBC or even who scores for Argyle first.... my money is on AIBC. Hope the knee sorts itself out soon last thing you need when fighting bears for fishing is a dodgy knee.

Oh Sensible you write a good script...just one thing..the Mountie has to be female...i suggest Helen Mirren to play the part..

My knee is feeling better already...lol

Sorry AWAYINBC I was thinking more Brokeback Mountain sort of thing. It's all the rage nowadays although I would be more in the Helen Mirren camp myself. Mind you she needs a bit of an ironing these days sadly. Still better a slightly wrinkly Helen than a Nora Batty (you might not know who that is). She's a character in a sitcom called Last of the Summer Wine and is slightly more hairy than your bears. I was thinking Brad Pitt at first playing you but he probably wouldn't be big enough to get on the horse so I'm open to offers on that one. George Clooney was working in our bar and is out of work at the moment.

Glad to hear your knee is on the mend but I'm sure you can milk it with the other half for a while longer. I would.
