Another day, another racist Scounter...and another nail in the coffin for the fiction that is football fans in this country are not racist.
...and another nail in the coffin for the myth that 'Pool fans are the best and most welcoming in the world of footy. Tut tut!
i think its always been there...just being highlighted due to the suarez/Evra incident........and to be honest i got no sympathy for a provocative dikhed like Evra whos busy saying niger this niger( i dont see the point in cencoring this word since everyone is obsessed with it) that on a youtube video yet is crying foul play. like Croydon says..its always been there...i bet it happens closer to home than Merseyside.
I know the song says you'll never walk alone, but two stories of their racist fans breaking on the same day is hard to ignore: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-17586385
Football fans reflect society. We do have ways and means of dealing with racists when they air their pitiful views, but on the whole I think we are a million miles away from the bad old days. As for the scousers, what do you expect? The idea of acceptable behaviour up there seems way different to ours.
