Dutch sources claim that Schalke and Liverpool have agreed on the transfer of Huntelaar.Wages are still in negotiation. Liverpool are preparing a bid of 9M euros for Huntelaar. It will be accepted if Schalke can't reach an agreement over a new contract

Rumours flying around at the MOBO Awards last night, by a few wealthy people in V.I.P, was that Walcott & Huntelaar are both done deals

Which would raise the question of why does our recruitment panel contain Will.I.Am and co.

    HA.

Walcott may have some big mouth celeb friends who he will never confide in again.

    -Walcott----------Suarez-
    ---------Huntelaar--------

    There's goals in that.

Seems bizarre that Ramsey seems to be playin RW for Arsenal every week and Walcott doesnt seem to be gettin a look in,makes you think somethins already been done

Would Isco or Erikkson in behind be too much to ask

Wenger is being odd with Walcott. I think he is punishing him in a way.

I'd wait till the summer but we could put them in behind.

    But what about Shelvey?

    Very true.

    Especially with European football involved.

And of course Huntelaar scored absolutely tons of goals for Ajax, in a front 3 with a certain Luis Suarez playin one of the wide positions

2yrs they played together, I think the Dutch League needed to reinforce there nets soon afterwards

I think he has had enough success and failure at a lot of the varying levels ( Ajax:Schalke-Success.......Madrid:Milan-Failed) to where he will have a level head IF he does come over in January. I think he is still a pretty big name and it would be a big boost to the squad.

If we got Huntelaar and Walcott that would be pretty good business I feel. Where are these Al Habsi rumors coming from?

Huntelaar for £6 million, Walcott for £8-£10 million that would be marvellous business.

I'd love Huntelaar I just really don't see it happening, and I don't see Walcott coming unless he's playing through the middle, which surely would mean their isn't much possibility of both of them coming?

  15. Sterling is already twice the player Walcott will ever be!

He's not quite there yet. When he's Walcott's age he should be, though.

Whatever people say about Walcott and what he could be (with a brain) - he's still very effective.

Huntelaar for £6mil would be a bargain. Proven across Europe, even though he wasn't brilliant for Madrid. If RVP hadn't been in such awesome form going into Euro's he would have bene leading the line for Holland after a blistering year last year in a German league, which is probably the closest to us in term of style in Europe.

Wallcott is still 50/50 for me. His stats say he scores goals & provides assists, yet on the other hand he can be awesome 1 game and totally shocking in the next. I hear some Arsenal fans say he only performs against smaller clubs and can't step up against big clubs, but I think that's what we need at the moment! we struggle against teams we "should" be beating so if he comes in and helps us win those games we should be winning, then playing against the other top 6 teams will always take care of themselves.

  18. I'd still rather chew my left nut off than sign Walcott! £100k per week for someone that runs fast <doh>

6 mil is a fair price for his age and length of contract left, I think in the summer the rumours were a fee of nearly ten mil more, that would be too much. Don't rate Theo that highly, we seem to have a good wage structure now, he would only **** it up.
