Klaas-Jan Huntelaar in January??

Just strolling around on youtube and a found a video of Huntelaar's goals in 2011.

He has a damn good finish - exactly what we currently need.

I don't think he'd cost too much either, and he's got a good goal ratio outside of Holland too:

- Heerenveen 33 in 46.
- Ajax 76 in 92.
- Real Madrid 8 in 20.
- Milan 7 in 25.
- Schalke 26 in 43 (joint top scorer with Gomez currently, has 15 in 16)
- Holland 30 in 48.

He's 28 and I reckon he'd smash them in for us. What you reckon? I know United are sniffing.

He's been my dream signing from when he was still at Heerenveen. No joke.

To be honest I haven't followed his career that much, so not that clued up about him. I see from goals scored he wasn't at Madrid or Milan long, why was that?

Got to be worth a shout though, when I have seen him I've been pretty impressed

Not sure. Best guess £8-10m? Maybe more as he's only 18.

Back on topic though I'd take Klass as he's a proven goal scorer. Very calm in front of goal.

 

Huntelaar we've all seen and know what he is capable of but judging people on youtube vids isn't exactly sensible. Lets sign Remi.

I'm not sure on this guy if I'm honest, he often goes missing in games and reminds me a lot of Chamakh.

Obviously we need goals, but there are plenty of other options who do the same thing and bring something to the team.

True. Either that or he'll have a field day against big physical defenders and run circles round them.

 

I have to say Neymar looks fantastic. Not convinced we can get him though. Think it will be the City/Milan/Real/Barca group with first dibs.

First post for me here, normally just a lurker on this forum, but this subject i wanted to comment on. Living in Brazil I can assure you that Neymar is absolute class.....in brazil. I dont think he would last a game in EPL. Far too lightweight and any time he gets roughhouseed he goes missing. I know that all of europe is raving about him, but I would never want to see him in a Liverpool shirt, I watch him every week. Football here is different to europe, lacks technical side and its all about flair and the spectacular, fantastic to watch and the brasilerio is a very competitive league, but players from here are going to struggle. There is only 1 player in brazil who i would love to see at anfield and thats leandro damiao, this guy is pure class and built for the physical side of the EPL. Forget Neymar, Leandro Damiao is the better option!

Interesting point about Neymar, the pyhsical element for foreign players in England is always important. Surprised you think he wouldn't make it. Perhaps Spain would be more suited to him?
