The Darkside of the Moon
It is reported in the Sun today that McInnes wants Kitson.

I know Shinys view on him but what about the rest of you. I think that he will be a excellent partner with Pitman

i dont see the point in buy kitson when we will have 3 tall strikers, unless stead and taylors are being sold on? then i would like kitson, but i just dont ssee the point in buying what we already have?

Taylor is really an unknown quantity lets be honest here? Hardly worth putting our hopes on him becomming a starting XI player any time soon.. Stead is good but injury prone, therefore we need a guy good in the air?

Could see Maynard going, Clarkson going and Taylor going out on loan leaving us with just Pitman and Stead as forwards. Add Kitson and Hume (or another fast striker) and we'd have lots of options up top.

I thought Kitson was quality on his last visit to the gate but apparently that was his best ever game for them!

hume?? didnt he struggle last time out in the championship?

be better than kitson i know that much!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a shame that a lot of Pompey fans haven't really been on his side. Since he's been with us he has had to operate as a lone striker - and he isn't that anymore and has made clear that he wants/needs a strike partner. There have been times when you can see that he can't be arsed - but really he works hard, holds the ball well and gets most of everything in the air. Personally I would hate to see him leave.

sounds a lot like one of our current strikers, jon stead, and out of the 2 i'd rather have stead
