When we ditched Adidas 10 mil a year for the Warrior 20 mil, we were all pretty excited. Not for the kits as they have been pretty woeful ( apart from the home kit) but by that 20 mil that we would get without CL ( If we are in the CL is it more?).

However, looking at the deals Arsenal have recently done, United, what Chelsea get with adidas, City with Nike, etc is the Warrior deal really worth it? Should we be looking elsewhere? Anyone want to do the maths and reearch on what other clubs outside the top 6 get? Interested to know what Spurs get with Under Armour as that is another American brand.

The money game, got to love it right!

Best year so far for sure astro but it is funny, United fall OUT of the CL....... and sign a monster deal with Adidas. Wonder how firm we are with Warrior though, hope we are looking around still.

This states it's £25m a year, plus we have control over non branded items which we didn't with Adidas hence the potential £300m.

So, yes it may only be £25m a year, but if that's only 50% of what is generated, then it becomes £50m a year. Now you have to compare, does the same thing happen with United, City etc? If not, then maybe they aren't that far ahead of us.

If we reverted back to one of the mainstream brands, would we again be able to control that side of sales?

It's Warrior, they've all been **** kits apart from the very first home one. But the game's about money nowadays so who gives a **** if the kits are a total abonimation and embarrassing for the club to wear. Hope we can ditch these tools at the first opportunity and go back to someone who knows what an LFC footie shirt should look like.

  6. We had Reebok for a number of years, why are they not on the list?

I'd still chose Adidas though :p

Who makes better kits? It's not like other teams don't have shocking kits.

And when you're with a company doing many kits you just get boring recycled patterns. At least Warrior have been interesting.

One of the ways Nike and adidas fund such large deals is by selling £90-£100 versions of their kits like with the new England one

  13. I like a nice shirt but they only last a season anyway (both in quality and club time)

Couldn't really care less about what the kits look like tbh, I don't watch football to see what the kits are like. They're just a colour with bits on and most the time you're too far away to even see the bits. As long as the home kit is red and the away kit is something different, I couldn't care less.
