    Now that City's players have got bored of meeting me in the pub every month, from this month onwards Stan McEwan will be doing a column each issue, the first with his thoughts on Barmby's appointment.

    I'm trying to twist Ash's arm to do one, but he's not very keen and Deano binned the last one I had arranged(it was supposed to be the morning of his personal appearance at Bev Races, but the whole event got cancelled), I might do one with Billy Whitehurst, but I've been warned that Billy and pubs can be a dangerous mix. <laugh>

    Too be honest the last time i met Ash and Deano in the pub, a punch up nearly started.
