Anne Marie O'Brien has just tweeted the following Kissed sustained a fracture of the sesamoid bones of her left fore at Chantilly today. She is comfortable and will now be retired to stud. I thought she was going to be O'Briens best filly by a long way. Shame we will not find out how good she could have been. Main thing though is that she will be ok.
Yes very sad but thank goodness she was able to be saved. Irish Oaks will be interesting now in terms of how that shapes up.
