Worley has looked shaky for too many games now, and in my opinion has never matched Beast quality to clear a ball or win defensive headers. Reading last nights comments (Lincoln away game) its sounds like the defence had another shocker! Last season we had a solid defence but are struggling to keep clean sheets despite Clarke and Wrights best efforts….
Kinniburgh and Purkiss looked great last season what have they got to do to get a game, is it another case of being out of favour with Wilder?

This is a reply I posted on the BBC 606 - I agree with your comments regarding Worley and last seasons solid back line, however Purkiss played for York last season

Let's face it our biggest concern this season is the defence. We concede far too many soft goals but maybe that's because of the way we try and play decent football high up the pitch. I know Tonkin gets a lot of grief and he's hardly my favourite player but he get little or no support on the left hand side, often up against a winger and full back. For me Worley is more of a concern, his passes are always short, he can't head a ball properly and his tackling isn't the best either and as for his finishing, well golden chances against Bury and Hereford show what he's like in front of goal too
