Afternoon gang, Below's a bit of info I've just read that may be of interest to you boys...: For me Kinsella is right up there with the very best midfielders I've had the pleasure of seeing wear the red of my beloved Charlton Athletic. It is for this reason that i genuinely hope he makes a success of his first opportunity in management and that one day he will return to the the level at which he graced as a player. Good luck Kins...
Here's the write-up - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13979866.stm Good Luck to him, hope the move is a great success.
It sometimes goes to prove that great players don't make great managers. Bobby Moore. Trevor Brooking. Tony Adams. Lets hope that Kins makes a real go of management. i'm not saying that Kins is of the ilk of the afforementioned players but to us Addicks he was and alwys be a legend. Good luck Kins.
Tony Adams? I think the adoring fans of Qəbələ Futbol Klubu would disagree with you there KP, as would Deon Burton.
Love it Tewkes used to look forward to Adams post match MOTD interviews, highly amusing very intense and the audience was clueless to what he ws on about.
You're right there, MikeT some of his analysis just left you open mouthed in wonder as to what he was doing there. Generally, I've got a lot of time for him. The battle with his personal demons, detailed pretty starkly in his autobiography and his willingness to take an enormous flyer by going off to manage Goatshaggers United in the middle of nowhere (albeit for a million quid a year) point towards a fascinating and complex character.
Echo everything said here. A cracking example of the kind of player we haven't had for the past few seasons. Terrible corner taker, though!
We can't be making a habit with all this agreeing with eachother Mike (i'll take the snuggly man hug though mate )... Anyway, Llera is a big lankey ple of s**t and Mike Tyson couldn't box to save his life... (I don't mean the latter).
Its all about oppinions Franco...its all looking good down the valley with all these signings and at last a CB may be on his way.
Exactly mate and it's the many varied opinions and points of view that make forums such as these so enjoyable to be a part of...!
