Killgallon would be a good signing but would much rather Gorkss. But i would settle for Killgallon but why on a season-long loan? He doesn't play regulary at Sunderland and surely wants 1st team footie?

Because he would want to sort out his future straight away rather then going back to Sunderland?

Good point but wouldn't we want someone who doesn't need to prove himself? Like Gorkss.

I would prefer gorkss too, looked on Kilgallons wikipedia page and apparently he was on loan at middlesboro last seaon but they weren't keen on him,he then went to doncaster for the rest of the season.I remember that he used to be good so whether adkins can bring that back out in him we will have to see,if it's true of course.

Think Ipswich are meant to be in for him too. They specialize in signing Sunderland rejects...

Im pretty sure this is deja vu but killgallen has played in the prem n championship... He just needs to find the form of Leeds days.. A loan will really resurrect his career and I reckon we could get a steal here Bruce wants to let him go nxt season for a pittance

With numbers '5' and '11' free for new transfers, it would seem a CB and Striker are being searched for, however this we knew already.

Wouldn't be too keen on Kilgallon, last season Middlesbrough were dire and if he didn't impress there then I wouldn't think he could improve our defence the way it needs to be.

I'm pretty certain the Gorkss deal is dead, time to let that one go.

I think he would be brilliant for us. Good age, good in the air, left footed and, importantly, he has a point to prove. If Adkins could get the best out if him I'd rather have him than Gorkss.

i think if we do get him, it needs to be on permanent basis. its proven that adkins can bring the best out of players and he would fit in nicely next to jose.
id rather us spend big at the back, than get maynard/ rodriguez for to est 6m.
if we needed a striker just to bolster numbers, id take le fondre etc and get a decent known non primadona center half

Surely a loan move is the more sensible option for a player like Kilgallon. If it works we can sign him permanant and if it doesn't we just hand him back. Sure if he plays well then that would increase the price a little but far from astronmically and we could alway pre-arrange a transfer fee.

With no obvious centre back transfer options to us, I think a player like Kilgallon (out of favour premier league) that might have a history of injuries can come in risk free on a loan deal.

you have so missed the point with this, you want players who WANT to prove themselves so that they will fight for everything theyve got, not sit on their laurels and take their wages. surely a kid not getting a look-in at a prem team will be chomping at the bit to prove he can cut it.

Hasn't he got a pretty dodgy history with injuries? No doubt he is a good player for this division, but I have doubts over his fitness and injury record. But I will trust whatever NA decides and, like I say if Kilgallon can get back to his best, is definately a top player for this level.
