Great! He had a very good game today, and more than ever we need him and the rest to stay fit now.

thought he was one of the motm contenders today.
hill probably just shaded it for me.
so all those people saying he's not good enough can do one. he looked really assured alongside nelsen.

He's always been a very good footballer, his only downside being his injuries. Thought he was fantastic today

As Warnock said when he signed, he's a quality player. Really was good today and I'm pleased he's finally contributing...

Despite the opposition when he came on against Walsall I was genuinely shocked to see just how good he was and he proved it again today dealing, albeit not perfectly, with Bale playing at an unnatural position of RB.

I genuinely believe that if, IF, he can stay fit he'll be challenging for a start in the next few weeks.

Genuinely delighted for him, deserves a bit of luck and a run in the side. Hope he starts against the fake hoops in the cup.

I doubt if MH will risk him in the Cup, he would be worth a start against the Hammers...

Very good point this i am thinking will mark Hughes play youngsters against Reading as we have so many injuries and will not want to risk getting any more to first team players.

I think Hughes will risk our strongest players but if we pick up any more injuries it will turn out to be a costly mistake

He needs match fitness so I think he has to play. I imagine Cesar will be rested (back spasms) and 1 or both of the CBs wont play with Mbia and a kid coming in. Id also start Cisse and rest Zamora. Id tell Cisse hes on the verge of not even making the match day squad as hes been that bad.

I think he just needs to score, it's hard when your starting every game on the bench and only getting 20 mins here and there. i would give him a whole 90 mins against Reading for some game time and hopefully get some goals.

I thought he was superb. It's great to have another option of such quality, assuming he can play to that level regularly, as we certainly need them at the back right now though they were all excellent today.

We were very good and were done by an OG and a rebound off the bar. Cisse has been terrible, hes never even got into the positions to score.
As i said, start him in the cup and drop him out of the match day squad if he doesnt buck his ideas up.

There was lots of positives, Cesar, Hill, Dyer, Zamora and the only negative for me was Cisse who yet again totally invisible.
