Kieron Dyer closes in on QPR comeback KIERON Dyer is using a revolutionary new running system to speed up his recovery from injury. The QPR star has been sidelined since the opening-day defeat to Bolton Wanderers after suffering ligament damage in his foot just minutes into his debut. However, Dyer is using a weight-bearing running treadmill to accelerate his recovery process and could be back in action as early as next month, according to his boss. âHe's ahead of schedule but he's still a few weeks off,â said Neil Warnock. âIt will be the middle of December before he can play. He trained this week and is working really hard.â Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for the latest QPR news. NW says really positive things about him but I fear he'd need a career as long as Sir Stan Matthews to register a full 90 mins (in total) for us.
I'm afraid he will never play for us again, and if he does it will only be for a few minutes. He's just one of those players that are always picking up injuries! The main point is Warnock would never have brought him in to begin with if Tony had been in charge,he was just a player who was availabled and free at the time!
He's quality IF fit, and it's a very big if. I think we all thought when he signed it was a gamble, so far it hasn't paid off but he'd be handy to have in the squad for his quality alone...
at least we got him on a pay as your play deal rather than some of the deals that have been given to players such as Rowan Vine, Dave etc etc etc.
I only jest..He will be a good quality utility player for us to have in the squad. He can help cover a lot of positions on the pitch which we will need through the season.
Our squad is thin so a fit Dyer(can they go together?) would be very welcome. I wish him all the best.
a fit Kieran Dyer would beef up the squad he was quality and i would like to see him regain full fitness
I hope the clumsy donkey remembers to tie his laces, chances are he will trip over on the treadmill and put his back out. Do we pay him when he is injured? I thought the deal was pay as you play but he must be on some sort of retainer while he is trying to get fit. You couldn't make it up, everyone tried to be positive about his signing but lasting just 3 minutes was a joke.
The problem is that his bones are made of porcelain. It is a miracle his career has come this far without him shattering into 10,000 different pieces
Does this revolutionary new running system involve him wearing a helmet and a full body titanium-coated suit of armour, stuffed full of bubble wrap, cotton wool and goose feathers? If it doesn't then I'm afraid Iâll not be holding my breath on him lasting more than another 6 minutes.
