    Latest gossip on bbc text says we are after bringing Kieran Richardson back from Villa.

    This wouldn't surprise me at all as he will be cheap and at 30 years old will be at home with the rest of our ageing defenders.

    This would be a typical Sunderland signing.

    The obvious LB to sign would be Alonso but at around £2-£3 million will be out of our price range.

    Still, maybe all of our players will have a big change in form and start to play the way they used to be able to play when they were good.

    Can`t see Richardson being on DA`s wish list somehow.

    On the boards cheap list? Much more likely.

    Funnily enough, he was shopping for a new hat, something less painful apparently, Richardson wanted a similar hat and the rest is history.
