One of the more bizarre revelations to come out of Sir Alex Ferguson’s new book is that he had a piece of artwork done by Kieran Richardson hanging in the manager’s office. Fergie said: “I had a lovely painting in my office that Kieran Richardson did.” Kieran himself has previously spoken of this. Back in 2009, he said: “When I was younger I wanted to draw comics and cartoons, and work for Disney. When I finish football it is something I will definitely consider." "When at United I did a piece and Sir Alex Ferguson liked it and put it up in his office. It was a landscape drawing of all the buildings around Manchester in blue wax crayon. It is an honour to think of it up there in his office, even if I am not there any more."
