I didn't give my son much choice. He started coming to Loftus Road around the age of four-and-a-half. We've had a few good days watching the Rangers and many more which have given him some early lessons in boredom, frustration and humiliation. For a long time I was most insistent on him sticking with it. Now we've emigrated, I'll probably just leave it up to him.
