We always seem to kick towards the JS in the first half, so that we can kick towards the Covered End in the 2nd.

However, in the last 2 games at least we have been playing 'the wrong way' - and we have been scoring first.

Some weeks ago I mentioned that , with the way we play, and also after the Colchester and Notts Co games that we are not a team to chase the game, and in those games we didnt score first after playing 'the right way'.

Just wondering if there had been a deliberate ploy to change it, or whether we have just lost the toss in recent games !?

Ive been wondering the same as yesterday was the third time weve done this on the trot and its only ever rarely that we dont shoot towards the JS in the first half

I reckon its a bit of both what you say, we're either losing the toss or Powell has decided that we need to put in more effort to score in the first half, hence shooting towards our own supporters

I think Orient was a conscious decision based on the low sun which was a real problem for their keeper in the first half. Yesterday I think we lost the toss.

There was quite a strong wind yesterday, blowing the rain towards the North Stand, so somebody might have decided based on that?
