Kicking off in Zimbabwe

The military has seized control in Zimbabwe but has said President Robert Mugabe, in power since 1980, is safe.
After seizing state TV, an army spokesman announced it was targeting people close to Mr Mugabe who had caused "social and economic suffering".
The move came after Mr Mugabe sacked his deputy, Emmerson Mnangagwa, in favour of his wife, Grace.
Heavy gun and artillery fire could be heard in northern parts of the capital Harare early on Wednesday.
A statement read out by a general on air denied it was a coup and said Mr Mugabe was safe but did not say where.

I nearly put Rhodesia in the thread title but switched to Zimbabwe as I thought it was about time we recognized the fact that since Mugabe and his ilk hoofed out Whitey the country has turned to sh*t and he's entirely to blame. C.unt still blames the British for the state his turd of a country is in.

 

We can but hope that nothing happens to this great man and his wife Grace, who have steered their country through troubled times despite the best efforts of Britain and others to undermine him.

By all accounts his wife "Lady" Grace Mtumbe-Nwankychops-Mugabe is a bone fide c.unt of the highest order. Used the Presidential jet to swan off to Paris and New York with her entourage sp.unking money like it was going out of fashion. Same thing happened with the former dictator Mobutu in Zaire where troops storming his former palace found luxuries beyond belief for a dirt poor third world country.

Mugabe turned the "breadbasket of Africa" into a wasteland. Ruined the manufacturing industry, ruined the farming industry, ruined the economy (had to ditch their own currency and start using $US) and at the same time gave a free hand to anyone from the Zanu PF party who helped him boot out Ian Smith to rape and pillage any homestead owned by white farmers. The steaming turd I did this morning would run the country better than that twat.

Many an example of poorly run African post-colonial countries yet they are a big chunk of what twerps like Nigel Farage think are going to save our bacon as we can trade with them through our good old Commonwealth ties. Brexit means Brexit lest we forget.
