Anybody else watching the Sunderland v Liverpool game? Ki is looking very good at the moment. Nice to see him playing much further up the pitch too.
Ive been watching it, Ki is just doing the same thing there as he is here to be honest. Nothing special just moving it from side to side with little fuss, had a couple of shots one which they ended up scoring from but I don't think he is good enough to get into our team as a mid fielder. Like a certain Owain tudor jones Ki has been thought about as a potential central defender, like OTJ he thinks he is far better than that, I wont tell you where OTJ is now !! Im not sure if he could develop elsewhere or indeed develop as a centre half but this was a move made by the club to sign him for £5,5m and make him one of the highest paid players along the way, its not worked out too well all things considered . Ki is not good enough to play every week at the swans I love him as a player but he flatters to deceive for me .
Ki has been voted one of the best players in his country...Its absolutely madness to let such talent go to another club and we should have played him in his right position and we would have got what he gave to celtic and why we and other clubs went for him in the first place......we could have done with him yesterday.....Oh on second thoughts laudrup would have played him at full back so he is better off at sunderland....
Where is this talent that you speak of Dai ? How many goals has he scored for us ? how many man of the match performances has he won ? ...I thought so , yet another WUM
To be fair Norway Dai does have a point, the reason Ki hasn't got motm or goals is simply down to not enough game time in his correct position, he was always played somewhere other than he should and on the rare occasion he did he looked very impressive. And yes I know Dai likes to WUM but personally I don't have a problem with him like others do, so we shouldn't instinctly assume that every post of his is a WUM 95% of the time yes but he does make some valid points that others tend to walk on eggshells over.
Im a fan of ki , I have also seen his games for sunderland and let me tell you, he aint all that ! pains me to say it but the fact he hasn't done it here pretty much shows he wont do it elsewhere either, he is far too slow and has no speed of thought, he is the classic manufactured footballer ,hopefully im wrong about him but at this moment in time he is not good enough for the swans and it wont be long before he falls out of favour at the mackems ,if reading their forums is anything to go by
Dai could you tell me who south africa's best footballer at the moment is? And exactly what relevance that has to how good a player is? Btw I am a big Ki fan, but couldn't see him breaking into our team, not with the midfielder's we have. Thing is you also say to play him in his proper position, so are you suggesting we drop Michu to accomodate him, as you yourself don't like it when michu starts up front. Then you have the likes of Pozuello who is an attacking midfielder, would you drop him for Ki?
why would i want to know who the best player is..Ki has been messed about and under rodgers would be the first name on the team sheet in his right position, He was awesome for celtic that a few clubs wanted him. It tells a story that he would rather go out on loan than stay with us with his world cup chances at stake..ts our loss at the end of the day...

So under Rodgers, you agree that we should drop the likes of Michu to cater for Ki?
Under Rodgers the likes of Michu wouldn't be at Swansea However, would you have dropped Gylfi for Ki Dai? I know I wouldn't have.

Dai, such a cowardly response, why not tell us who you would pick out of Michu and Ki. Ki's favoured role is that of an Attacking midfielder. Michu's referred role is that of an Attacking Midfielder. You could say we could play Michu up front, and Ki behind,but then we all know you don't like Michu up front, so come on font of all footballing knowledge, teach me some of that wisdom of yours, tell me what I am missing, or are you going to continue behind a coward and ignore the question put to you like you always do.
