    This is what Mr Khan had to say today about our current position (as well as trying to flog season tickets) -

    "To begin, I want to express my sincere appreciation for your faithful backing of Fulham Football Club. We are about to conclude a season in the Sky Bet Championship that, unfortunately, posed more challenges than we had anticipated. Nevertheless, home or away, you were there for the Whites. There are no better supporters in football!

    Now, it’s time to look ahead. Over the summer months, we will strive to build a team capable of challenging for top honours while delivering you and your fellow supporters a brand of football that will make your trips to Craven Cottage memorable and rewarding. Our commitment to raising our game is uncompromising at every level of the Club, and we’re eager to turn the page. With that, I hope you will join me in looking ahead to 2015-2016 as we announce next season’s prices.

    I know you have a choice as to whether you stay on this journey with us, and that’s why I want to reward all of our Season Ticket holders with a 15% reduction on last season’s price. It’s the least we can do to honour the loyalty you’ve shown us. And, because we have always been a family Club, we’re making it easier than ever to bring your children to matches in 2015-2016, by reducing all of our junior ticket prices by 50% everywhere in the ground.

    I want to thank each and every season ticket holder for their magnificent support, certainly this past season but throughout the years. With fans like you, and in a setting as grand as our wonderful Craven Cottage, this truly is a Club like no other.

    Here’s to seeing you next season at the Cottage.
    Come On You Whites!”

    * no 5 year plan then …

    * the qualification, by including the word, “strive” gives the ambition that we will ‘build a capable team’ the ring of a politician’s promise …

    * no mention of Kit anywhere …

    At least MO fed us dreams, fulfilling 80% of them

    It's quite an unctuous approach - "there are no better supporters in football" and "magnificent support", how does he actually know this? Given he's with us for money and profile raising, and nothing else, I'd prefer if he just wrote "thanks for coming and buying a couple of pints, I know it's been a bit **** but it looks as though I've been sold a pony and I need the money to keep coming so I don't end up losing too much on this."

    I quite like the "posed more challenges that we anticipated" bit, don't know what he actually was anticipating - a season full of goal strikes and appreciation claps.

    I'm glad that he makes a point of recognising that we have a choice though, very good of him - I'm not sure why he didn't delete that sentence, it really adds nothing to the statement.

    Think I was too used to 'Mo' (aka newly graduated English Lit student from Oxford) and his (her?) offerings.

    More PR BS....on our 'Journey' to the scrap heap......magnificent support!!!! Arsenal are called the Library we should be called the Morgue at home games, add the cringe worthy half time video and interview with someone who had already bought their season ticket last night.
