Never realised that he had been released by Boro at the end of January. His career never really panned out after leaving the most honoured club on Earth. How do you go back to cheeseburgers after eating steak. He put in some great performances for us, scored some great goals and put in a few meaty challenges. Possibly his funniest moment on the park was Rab E Keane's Old Firm debut. Crunched into him within the first 2 minutes and we never heard from Rab the rest of the game. He never really wanted to leave us but when the money came in for him, we had to accept it. Hope the guy gets through his injuries and gets himself a decent club in the near future.

Best moment of his career was doing a Gazza and ****ing himself up after tackling an opposition player ... Think it was Samaras he "tackled" and came out worse... imagine that, tackling Samaras and getting a second prize!
I was never too keen on Black, he may have had a decent(ish) season for Hearts last season but I guess we had to take who we could get.
Lord of the Wing..................I recall they played a lot of x-box together whilst discussing transfer activity < Dont worry I`ll save your bacon Son Of Leggat >
Thomson had the potential to be an excellent player. He was far too injury prone though. That's one of the factors in why he's leaving Boro. I think Hutton might develop into a better player than either Black or Thomson. He's certainly shown Black up this season. Hutton's got a far better temperament than the pair of them too. MacLeod could be better than the lot of them put together. What's the point of going back now? Do we really want the return of Thomson, Boyd, Miller, Barry Ferguson or whoever the latest one is that we're linked to. Mind you I'd take Steve Davis back in a minute.
