Heard a rumour from the green taveners meeting the other day that PRisdale will soon introduce Kevin Phillips as a new player assistant manager and was able to secure this due to there close friendship. He reportedly also informed everyone that he has a few more rabbits to pull out the hat. I had to question my friend who told me this who attended the meeting but he seemed pretty certain, i dont know whether to believe anything i'm told by Argyle these days now though.

i like Kevin Phillips but i still cant (and i don't know why) see him at Argyle. Something just doesnt fit with me
He would be an interesting investment but I can not see him coming down here, at the most he would probably join a top League One club.
I cant remember whether he had good relations with reid or risdale but he could be very valuable down here scoring a few goals and help masons development. And the assistant manager role means he can do his coaching badges aswell. Theres something i found today on pasoti about it aswell.
Would be great signing as player and coach in my opinion but like most i just cant see it happening but this is Plymouth Argyle so im not ruling anything out after what we have witnessed at this club
