Our ex centre forward has turned to Darts in his retirement, he's just knocked out a seeded Dutch player in the Scottish Open. Nice to see ex players doing something unusual, he was never blessed with a lot of skill but always put a shift in during his time with us.

The last we heard he was working on a ship, getting about one grand a month. The lads just trying to make a living and move on with his life. Fair play to him.

Good luck to him. He was an awful player though. He'd be right up there in a list of waste of space forwards we've had.

That's from practicing on ferries(his last job). If you can hit 180 in a north sea storm you're going to do alright on dry land <laugh>

    Better than Tore Andre Flo.
Kyle was all heart, and served the club well in a very difficult time for us

There was a time when I honestly thought he was going to make the grade and be a good battering ram of a centre forward, but he just never got close to living up to what I thought was his potential...
I actually met the lad a couple of times and he came across as a decent bloke. Good luck to him, and it would be great to see him make the grade in the darts world..

If he can hit 180 in a north sea storm when he plays in a pub most of his arrows will end up going out the window.<laugh>

Love bullseye the gameshow, about 209 episodes and fantastic prizes, trouser presses, salt and pepper shakers, teas mades, frigging speed boats, sony walkmans, and bullies, and jim with his pink suits and pointing and waving.

Love the way Monty seems to get as far away from point as humanly possible but still keep it on topic. <laugh>

Lived next door to my Aunt in Cleadon for a while and they loved him. Said he was a really nice bloke to live next door to.
